Frygy cubic international inc. is a company specializing in refrigeration systems for transport of goods. Located in Sherbrooke, the company realized a few years ago, research and development with the help of the research center of Hydro-Quebec and the Agency for energy efficiency in Quebec. Research has led to the development of a new cold storage system used primarily for delivery of frozen food products. This system produces no greenhouse gas emissions, compared to about 16 tons per year per unit for a conventional system.

providing a refrigeration system without fuel

Frygy Cube International Inc. is a refrigeration company located in Sherbrooke, Quebec. For the past several years our company has dedicated itself to the research and development of a new cold storage system for trailers that are used primarily for delivering frozen food products. This task was carried out thanks to the help of the LTE which is Hydro-Québec’s research centre and the Agence d'efficacité énergétique du Québec. We would like to extend a sincere thanks to our wonderful collaborators.

The appeal of our product is the major savings in operation costs. A conventional system uses approximately 4000 litres of fuel per year at $1.14 per litre, which amounts to about $5000, plus maintenance costs of about $2500 per year. On an environmental front, our product is environmentally friendly and emits no greenhouse gazes. A traditional system emits 16 tonnes of CO2 annually into the atmosphere. Our system costs about $800 in electricity annually, and emits zero tonnes of CO2

We are currently giving demonstrations of our technology and manufacturing our units. We have a truck prototype model that has been working for the past three years (see photo). Should you require more information, we would be more than happy to meet with you to answer any questions you may have.
